Terms & Conditions of Bookings (Bed & Breakfast)

Bedrooms. All our bedrooms have views across the glen, en-suite bathrooms and tea & coffee making facilities. One has a bath and no shower. Two have showers only. Others have both bath and shower. Doubles have standard (4ft 6") beds or King Size (5ft). Twins have two single (3ft) beds. Two are on the ground floor. Please specify any preferences you may have at the time of booking.

Reservations. We normally request a deposit in the amount of the first night of your stay. You can book online or telephone and pay by card. Alternatively you can write and pay a deposit by cheque. Credit and debit card details are obtained and held in compliance with PCI DSS standards.

Confirmation. Unless you are booking at very short notice, we will always confirm a reservation in writing, by letter or email, including the type of bedroom and the rate.

Rates. We will always endeavour to offer the best available rate. Should a better rate become available later, your reservation will be amended. Rates are fully inclusive; there are no additional taxes or service charges.

Cancellation. Should you require to cancel your reservation less than 30 days before arrival, you may forfeit your deposit. However, we will try our best to re-let your room(s). If we are successful in re-letting, your deposit will be refunded. We recommend that you hold insurance for travel and accommodation costs that may arise should your circumstances change and you require to cancel your trip.

Payment. Payment can be made in sterling cash, cheques or travellers cheques; or by Switch/Maestro, MasterCard or Visa/Delta.

Check In/Check Out. Guests may check in between 4pm and 8pm or at other times by arrangement. Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 11am at the latest.

Special Diets. If you have any special dietary requirements for your breakfast or evening meal, we are more than happy to accommodate these provided reasonable notice is given, preferably at the time of booking : our remote location requires us to plan in advance.

Single Occupancy. We offer a discount on the equivalent rate for a single-occupied double or twin. A single-occupied bedroom may be with double or twin beds at our discretion.

Children. We accept children of school age in the Guest House; younger families may find the self-catering wing more suitable. We have a single folding bed suitable for a child which can be added to some bedrooms.

Pets. Well behaved dogs are accepted by prior arrangement in some guest bedrooms on their own blanket or basket. Dogs are not permitted in the public spaces (guide dogs excepted). We charge a supplement of £10 per dog per stay. Please contact us directly in advance of your stay if you wish to bring your dog into your room.

Telephones. A Payphone is available in the entrance hall.

Smoking. The premises are non-smoking throughout.
